CUHWC Eskdale 2006

My first trip this term, Eskdale in the Soutern Lake District was absolutely amazing. On the first day, we walked up Scafell via Slight Side, then traversed the Lord's Rake and ascended Scafell Pike. We then descended towards Wastwater, before walking over Ill Gill Fell and Whin Rigg. The weather was fantastic. On the Sunday, we walked up Green Crag, Harter Fell and Hard Knott (the long way!), saw some waterfalls on the River Esk, and also saw Hard Knott fort. The weather was even better than on the Saturday. After walking nearly 50km, we were all a little tired...
