CUHWC 2008 - Glen Coe
27th June 2008 to 29th June 2008

Dave F, Simon T, Inkyu, David P, Simon W and I went to Glen Coe for 2 days before the CUHWC official unofficial Scotland trip. On Saturday, Inkyu and I scrambled up Aonach Dubh (west side), walked up Stop Coire nan Lochan, descended to Coire nan Lochan then scrambled up Barn Wall before heading down to the bottom of Glen Coe. On Sunday, we all headed up the Pap of Glencoe since it was raining!

The Barn Wall. Our route went past the heathery ledges in the middle of the crag, then we took the grade 2 option up the continuation of the prominent gully (since it was wet)

We stayed in the (slightly midgey) Red Squirrel campsite. Expensive with rubbish facilities, but preferable to paying a small fortune for the camping and caravan club site!
